Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk / Finance Assistant



Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 per annum pro rata



We are looking for a part time purchase ledger clerk / finance assistant to join our team in Badminton (4 miles from junction 18 of the M4). The role is for 3 days per week but the hours (24 hours per week) could be spread over 4 or 5 days to suit. The business has a relaxed atmosphere and casual dress code with free onsite parking.



Responsibilities:

• Log and code all invoices/credit notes and post onto Sage accounting system

• Run weekly payment run for all due payments, making sure all discounted invoices are paid within the correct time period

• Reconcile all supplier statements

• Match supplier receipts to invoices and report any price, stock or quantity discrepancies to relevant buyer or direct to supplier

• Chase up any credits or any unresolved queries

• Answer any queries from suppliers

• Update spreadsheets for month end stock reconcile purposes

• Any ad hoc reporting and administration as needed

• Provide payroll cover when needed



Skills and experience:

• Enthusiastic and positive

• PC literate with good excel knowledge

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good literacy and numeracy skills

• Ideally experience of Sage but not essential
